Welcome to class DaF Junior 2!

We are a super interesting group of clever, beautiful and creative people, and
we love German songs. We try to sing at least one song every week. Playing
German games and doing homework regularly comes equally easy for us. We
come to class with our pets and they learn German with us. Sitting at one
place is nearly impossible for us, and we love movement through German.

Check out the songs we love to sing

We are the DaF A2!

A relatively big group of 11 students, all of whom are super creative and have amazing skills like drawing, painting, baking, sports, theatre, etc. We like to hang out in Breakout rooms, chat in the break, and play online games, besides learning German. We look out for each other and make sure that everyone feels a part of the class and have a super friendly vibe when it comes to group activities.

  • How it all started

VWGS founding meeting: Feb. 7, 1992

April - June 1992: 8 weeks course with about 30 students in 3 classes

1992/93 school year: 53 students in 5 classes

Classes were held at Carnarvon Community School.

  • How it is going

Currently the school boasts multiple DaF and DaZ classes, along with a wide range of extra curricular activities, which enhance the learning experience and create a positive and fun environment where language learning transcends the text book and the traditional classroom way of learning.

From outdoor Summer and Spring camps to online quiz and spelling competitions, German learning was never so interactive and immersive as it is in these revolutionary times.

  • How the coming years look like

More and more people are learning German and speaking it in most of the countries of the world.

Our school is doing more since the last few years in the field of language and associated areas than ever.

The next years are looking even more exciting and eventful. There are so many fun things lined up. Competitions, events, camps, and so much more of language learning.

So keep a look-out for more updates on the school website and social media pages.
